Our Blog

We are a year 5/6 (9-10 year olds) class from Bairds Mainfreight Primary School in Auckland, NZ.

You can see some of our learning that took place in Room 12 in 2010 and 2011.

NB: I have moved to a new school now so this blog is no longer active. You are still welcome to comment and look at the great fun we had over the past two years.

Thank you for all the lovely comments :)

The Oak Tree - Day 1 photographer Nelson

Today is the first day of Spring!

We are going to take a picture of our marvelous tall old oak tree that has been at our school for years. We will be taking a picture of it every day. We are hoping that we can put all the pictures into a movie so that you can see it grow!

  2. Hey Room 12 I am so excited that you are doing some learning about our oak tree. Miss Benjamin will be thrilled, as she really loves the tree too. Did you know that this year was the very first year that our tree shed acorns? I was wondering why this was? Can you find out for me? Love Miss M xo
