Our Blog

We are a year 5/6 (9-10 year olds) class from Bairds Mainfreight Primary School in Auckland, NZ.

You can see some of our learning that took place in Room 12 in 2010 and 2011.

NB: I have moved to a new school now so this blog is no longer active. You are still welcome to comment and look at the great fun we had over the past two years.

Thank you for all the lovely comments :)

Immersion - Where is it from?

How is a cartoon made?

What do you think that this means? What questions do you have about this?

  1. This is how we felt:

We felt sorry for the workers

We felt mad that they killed animals

We felt disgusted about the animals

We felt sorry for the boy because he had to put his hands in the acid

We felt bad because those people work every single day. We could tell they did because:
    They looked tired
their eyes looked like they had just woken up
    They looked exhausted
You could see their bone remains
    Their facial expressions looked weird
